The Lessee shall pay a $325 down payment to secure the date of your event at the time of scheduling. The Lessee shall receive a full a full refund if cancellation is made at least 30 days prior to the event. On the 29th day or thereafter, no refund will be issued
The balance of the facility rental ($325) is due two weeks prior to the scheduled event. (Please note that upon inspection of the facilities and grounds, you will be responsible for paying for any damages or theft determined to have taken place during the time of your rental.)
NBM Family Life Center will set up the facility for your event. Please supply us with a plan or diagram of your desired seating arrangement at least 5 days prior to the event.
Activities shall conclude by 1:00 a.m. Please allow at least ½ hour for cleanup (when considering your time). The Lessee shall discard all table trash and remove all table coverings and decorations along with the tape used to secure them. The cost of any excessive cleanup caused by the event will be assessed to the Lessee. Unless prior arrangements have been made, the doors will be locked at 1:00 a.m. After that time, a fee of $75 will be charged per additional ½ hour.
Lessee will not cause or permit any nails or other things to be driven into any portion of the building, nor any signs to be affixed to the exterior thereof, nor cause or permit any changes, alterations, repairs, painting, or staining of any part of the building or the furnishings or equipment thereof. There is to be nothing done that will damage the finish or appearance of the building or its furnishings.
New Beginning Ministries must approve the method of hanging any signs, posters, or decorations prior to their hanging. The Lessee is responsible for hanging all decorations and assumes liability should any personal or property damage result from so doing. The Lessee may not hang any items from light fixtures, exit signs, air conditioners, air supply ducts, return air grills or diffusers. The Lessee may not remove or move any ceiling tile for the purpose of hanging decorations without consent of the plant manager. No exit lights or fixtures may be obstructed or covered.
Please refrain from profanity, abusive language, and/or obscene gestures. Such behavior may cause the participant to be asked to leave the premises.
The use of alcohol, tobacco in any form, or controlled substances is prohibited. There should be no smoking within 25 feet of the Family Life Center.
Violence will not be tolerated, and offenders will be asked to leave the facility immediately.
New Beginning Ministries shall not be responsible for or liable to the Lessee for any loss resulting from any lack of heat, water, lights, or air conditioning due to the failure of any of this equipment to operate or function properly through no fault or act of New Beginning Ministries.
Any motor vehicles parked on or near the premises (and the contents thereof) are parked at the risk of the owner. New Beginning Ministries shall not be responsible or liable for loss or damage to said vehicle or contents.
New Beginning Ministries shall not be liable for any injury or damage to any person or to any property at any time on said premises or in said building, or from ice thereon, or from water, rain, snow, or any other weather element which may leak into, issue or flow from a part of the building, or from pipes or plumbing of the same, or from any place or quarter, or from any other cause during property rental period.
Any deviations or changes in the above policies and procedures must be approved by New Beginning Ministries.
