Since its beginning in 2022, our Juneteenth celebration has become a cherished community tradition—a powerful reminder of June 19, 1865, the day when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas were informed of their freedom, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

This event is more than a celebration—it’s an experience. Expect a day full of fun, food, fellowship, and freedom
